This full day editing workshop is aimed at teaching participants the ins and outs of IFCO’s Adobe CS6 editing suite. Participants will become familiar with the effects and options included in Premier Pro CS6.
The following topics will be covered:
• Setting up projects correctly;
• Importing Footage;
• Basic editing (cutting & pasting);
• Image distortion and rotating, cropping and changing speed;
• How to create and effectively use Mattes;
• Image control and controlling brightness and contrast;
• Introduction to Colour Correction and Colour Balance;
• Creating Titles; and
• Exporting and the proper use of codecs.
Mark Pelletier studied Television Broadcasting at Algonquin College in Ottawa and graduated with an award for technical directing. He has worked in the broadcast industry for ten years in a variety of positions. Mark has experience with both linear and non-linear formats, as well as having made the transition from standard definition to high definition and finally to 4k. He has been involved in pre-production, live production and post-production elements of television broadcasting, working in different environments and cities. He has been using the Adobe suite for many years; helping to implement the Adobe workflow into various broadcast projects. Mark particularly enjoys working with Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
