SUMMER BREAK SUPER 8MM FILMMAKING KIDS‘ CAMP – TWO SESSIONS!

Is your child between the age of 10 and 14? Do they enjoy watching movies, telling stories or performing for others? Does your child show an interest in filmmaking? Learn from local filmmakers the process of making a Super 8mm short film. This week-long Camp gives kids the opportunity to gain hands on experience using (emulsion) film stock supplies and original filmmaking equipment.
This Camp is suitable for beginners with no prior experience or exposure to filmmaking. Participants collaborate as a team to produce a two to three-minute B&W film. Participants will have the opportunity to experience each of the following roles: Director, Cinematographer, Camera Operator, Sound Recordist and Picture Editor.
SUPER 8MM FILMMAKING CAMP ACTIVITIES:
