Description:
This workshop will introduce you to basic non-linear editing concepts
and techniques using Final Cut Pro. The following topics will be covered:
- Setting up your project
- Organizing footage in the browser
- Logging and capturing footage
- Setting up a sequence
- Using the viewer
- Adding clips to a sequence
- Using the timeline and canvas
- Editing with the trim edit window
- Editing on the timeline (ripple, roll, slip, slide and blade)
- Working with multiple tracks
- Adding and adjusting transitions
- Adding effects
- Creating titles
- Output to tape
